Monocle Seasonal Shop Hong Kong

For those who treasure the Better Things in Life:

Monocle, a global briefing magazine founded by legendary journalist
Tyler Brûlé, is teaming up with Lane Crawford to create a seasonal shop. Situated within Lane Crawford's Pacific Place home store at 88 Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong, the shop will open on 15 April (today) for five weeks. The Monocle team is now Hong Kong to celebrate the first Asian home for the Monocle Shop.

This evening I attended the cocktail party at Lane Crawford and am more than happy to recommend you all go and take a look at the premium products Monocle offers and, of course, have some careful (and delightful) reads to the magazine itself.

Some background about Tyler
Brûlé - Born in Winnipeg, Canada, in 1968 (* a bit younger than myself I guess), a BBC-trained journalist who, after being shot by a sniper while covering the Afghanistan war in March 1994, practically lost the use of his left hand (that's where 'legendary' sets in!). Thereafter he left journalism and launched Wallpaper* magazine which was one of the most influential launches of the 1990's (again, legendary) and was subsequently sold to Time Warner. He launched Monocle magazine in 2007 covering Affairs, Business, Culture, Design and Edits (miscellaneous good stuffs - using their own words, 'all you need in life').
